People Promote For You?

by Unknown  |  in Tips Tingkatkan Trafik at  Monday, January 10, 2011
Have you recently created an e-book?  If so, do you plan on
selling that e-book?  If you are interested in profiting from
your latest creation, you can do so, but you may need a little
bit of assistance.  To make money, you need to rely on internet
sales.  The only problem is that to have internet sales, your
product needs to be seen and known about.  Unfortunately, there
are many e-book authors who believe that this is too hard of a
task.  While it may be difficult at times, there are a number of
easy ways that you can go about having your e-book successfully
promoted.

Before examining how you can promote your e-book, it is first
important to touch on the ever so popular question, ?why??  When
selling a product, including an e-book, this is a question that
shouldn?t even be asked, but it still is.  Promotion is important
when it comes to selling an e-book or even any other product for
that matter.  If you do not advertise or promote your product,
consumers will not even know that it exists. Something can?t be
purchased if no one knows that it is available for sale.
Promotion is also important because, if properly implemented, it
gets people talking; it creates a ?buzz.?

One of the easiest ways that you can go about finding people to
help you promote your e-book is by using the internet. After all,
that is where your e-book will be sold. One of the approaches
that you can take is by visiting online message boards or forums.
There are a large number of internet users who are also looking
for help, when it comes to selling a product or a service.  You
could do a link exchange.  A link exchange is when two
individuals agree to help each other promote their products.  For
obvious reasons though, you will want to make sure that you do
not help to promote a product that could be considered your
competition.

Speaking of online message boards and forums, you can do your own
promoting when searching for someone to help you. A large number
of message boards and forums allow members to create a signature.
Many posters use a signature to display their favorite quotes or
song lyrics, but most use it to promote their business or
products; you can also do the same.  For instance, if you are
selling an e-book on pet care, you can have a catchy signature
line and a link to your e-book sales pages.  This concept works
great, especially if you are on a forum that is related to the
topic of your e-book, like a pet lover?s forum. You may also be
able to find other posters who are willing to promote your e-book
in their signature lines too.

In conjunction with using online message boards or forums to find
people who are willing to promote your product, you can also use
standard internet searches.  You will want to search for websites
that are, in one way or another, related to the content of your
website.  A large number of webmaster may do a link exchange, but
others may want you to pay a small amount of money for an
advertising slot.  Even if you must pay for advertising, it will
likely be worth it, especially if you find a popular, high
traffic website.

As an act of kindness, you may want to provide other internet
users with incentives for helping you promote your e-book,
especially if you are looking to have this help without paying
for it.  A popular incentive, as mentioned above, is a link
exchange. In addition to a link exchange, you may even want to
give your promotional assistants a free copy of your e-book.  In
fact, you may even be asked for a free copy. This is actually
quite common as many individuals want to know exactly what they
are helping to promote.

It isn?t really as hard as it sounds. Let?s get rid of all those
things that are hard to do by using our shopping cart software

Easy proofreading & spellchecking

by Unknown  |  in Easy Steps to the Top 10 at  Friday, January 07, 2011
One of the biggest complaints reported by e-book readers is poor
grammar usage.  Although the occasional mistake is
understandable, some readers are often left wondering if their
e-book author even read their own e-book.  Do not let yourself be
one of those authors.  You need to thoroughly proofread and spell
check your e-book before offering it for sale.

When it comes to proofreading, there are often two sets of
writers.  Many automatically know the importance of proofreading
and spell checking.  However, there are others who have the why
bother mentality.  If you are wondering why it is important to
proofread and spell check, you need to familiarize yourself with
the importance of proofreading.  Of course, proofreading allows
you to catch any mistakes that you may have made.  It also allows
you to make sure that you didn?t leave out anything important.
Proofreading also enables you to make sure that your e-book flows
together perfectly.

Perhaps, the most important purpose of proofreading is to create
a high quality product.  Even if you are able to produce an
e-book on one of the ?hottest? topics or subjects around, it
won?t really do you any good if your e-book is hard or difficult
to read. In fact, that is why there is often a direct connection
between proofreading and e-book sales.  Proofreading, especially
multiple times, may be considered time consuming, but it will
help you in the end.  It is known fact that interesting and
properly written e-books sell for more than those that are just
interesting.

Since proofreading is vital to the success of your e-book, you
are advised to make sure that you do it.  In fact, do you know
that you have a number of different options? The most chosen
option involves self-proofreading.  Self-proofreading is defined
as proofreading your own content.  When doing your own
proofreading, it is best that you wait until your e-book as been
finished.  You will also want to make sure that you proofread
multiple times. In most cases, once is not enough to catch all of
your errors.  A good rule to follow is if you don?t understand
what you wrote; your readers probably won?t be able to understand
it either.

A large number of authors, including e-book authors, are able to
successfully proofread and spell check their own articles, but
there are also a number of those who have a difficult time doing
so.  With something as important as an e-book that will be
available for sale online, you may want to think about hiring a
professional proofreader.  Professional proofreaders are also
known as editors.  What is nice about hiring a professional
proofreader or editor is that many not only have experience, but
they also have a degree to back it up.  Having a professional
proofreader or editor will increase your chances of having your
mistakes found and corrected.

As nice as it is to hire a professional proofreader or editor,
you need to have money to do so.  While it is possible to find an
affordable editor, you may not have the funds needed to do so.
If that is the case, you are advised to look for individuals who
will do your proofreading or editing for you, free of charge.
Your best chance of success, with this approach, involves talking
to those that you know.  You may also be able to work out an
arrangement with another writer.  If you offer to proofread one
of their e-books or a collection of their articles, they may do
the same for you. When taking the free proofreading approach, you
are advised to try and get someone who may have some writing and
editing experience, even if they are not considered an expert.

Whether you choose to do your own proofreading, have a friend
look at your e-book for you, or hire a professional editor, you
are urged to proofread.  Proofreading and whether or not it is
done may have a direct impact on whether or not you e-book is a
successful seller.

It isn?t really as hard as it sounds. Let?s get rid of all those
things that are hard to do by using our shopping cart software
Digital eCommerce Shopping Cart that makes it very easy for anyone to put
up their own professional eBook sales website.

SEO- 9 Ridiculously Easy Steps to the Top 10

by Unknown  |  in Tips Tingkatkan Trafik at  Monday, January 03, 2011
Search Engine Optimization companies are making a fortune by doing the menial work that is overlooked by many designers. It is ridiculously easy to do most of the work done by most SEO companies, all you have to do is create good habits.

There are 9 main points you should focus on:

• Keywords
• URL Text
• Description, Meta tags
• Title tags
• Image Names
• ALT tags
• Heading tags
• Content
• Hyperlinks

The focus of these 8 steps is to load your pages with as many "keywords" as possible.

Keywords
Keywords are the most important aspect of good SEO, this is where you tell the Search Engines what your site is about. Search Engines use an algorithm to determine the "Keyword Density" of your site, this formula is:

Total Words ÷ Keywords= Keyword Density

Use this formula on your competitors web site and see how they score, then aim to beat that score.

Choose keywords that best relate to the information, products or services that you are offering. For instance, if I am designing a site about "Web Design", I want my site to include the words "Web Design" as many times as possible.

However, most people don't just search for just one word, they type phrases, so you should consider the phrases that best suit your sites target market. For example, if I am creating a site about "Web Design" in New Orleans, I would include "New Orleans web design" in my keywords. Another way around this is to not separate my keywords with commas, just use spaces, and the Search Engines will make the phrases for you. The most important thing to remember is that the content of each page is different, so only use keywords pertaining to that page.

URL Text
When you name a new page you have the option to call it anything you could possibly think of, why not se a keyword? After all, the URL address is the first things a search engine comes across when indexing your pages. You have to remember content doesn't come easy to everyone, so you gotta slip in your keywords when the process gives you an easy one.

Description Meta tags
These tags are dwindling in importance since Search Engines are now looking at content, but every little bit counts.

Optimize your meta tags to match your content, products, and services, and the Search Engines that still look at meta data will reward your efforts.

Title Tags
Title tags are the tags that tell the Search Engine the title, or formal description of the document or page. This is the word or phrase that is seen at the top of the browser window. The most important rule about title tags is, don't put anything in the title tags but keywords. Once again this is an easy time to slip in your keywords, so don't miss out.

Image Names
As I said before, content doesn't come easy to everyone, so slip in your keywords whenever possible, this applies to image names. If you are saving a picture of a guy working on a computer for your web design web site, don't call it "some_dude.jpg", call it "web_site_design.jpg". The Search engine will look at the code for the site and see the image pertains to the content of the site and this will be another relevant element on that particular page. You have to take the easy ones when you are given a chance.

ALT tags
Alt tags are keywords that you can attach to images, giving more weight to the image since Search Engines can't analyze the content of the image itself. Here is a chance to slip in more keywords without writing great content, use it.

Heading tags
Heading tags are associated with the bold font that leads into a section of text. Like this:

Web Design
Web Design Inc. offers custom web site designs...

Your heading tags should only be keywords, and should be presented in the order that your Meta tags follow.

H1= first meta tag, H2= second meta tag...

Try to utilize all 6 heading tags on each page to ensure maximum page optimization.

Content
As every expert will tell you, "Content is King." Each web page should have at least 350 words on it, and the more the better, but keep in mind the formula for keyword density. You don't want to fill a page with 1500 words of jibba-jabba and only 5 keywords in it. Some people get hung-up on how browsers display text, and use images with text in them because they want a cool font, but browsers can't read the text embedded in images, so this content ads no weight to the page in a Search Engines eyes.

Linkbaiting is the new trend among high ranking sites. Linkbaiting means writing quality content, or articles that other web sites can display on their pages as long as they give credit, and a link to your site.

You don't have to be a vi or emac expert to write good web content, just be thoughtful of how you word things and incorporate your keywords.

Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks are text links to other pages on your site. The rules of SEO and hyperlinks are easy:

• Use hyperlinks so the Search Engine will have a text link to follow to the next page
• Don't use one word links, use long link phrases, preferably keyword phrases
• Use bullets, or some sort of small image that you can attach an ALT tag to, this will ad more importance to the link, and throw in a couple of free keywords for you.

Keep these 9 aspects in mid when designing a site, and you are sure to have a leg up on the competition.
